Bought 3 new strikers. Workmanship is top notch. Here`s my problem they have rounded ends. I can`t seem to run them as well as flat ends as I have always used flat ends. Can I cut ends off without ruining them? And how? Should of asked 1st. Someone might end up with new strikers. Thanks guys

I would contact the person who made them, they may make a trade. I definitely would not cut them or try to sand off the tip. You can always sell them here and order more.

Yea if you bought it from the maker they will likely trade it for you, I have done that twice.

Well I used scotch bright on the ends and I can run them, just prefer the flat bottoms. I think the next show I got to I will take some of my pots and run some strikers probably my best bet. I got till fall to work this out.

Most guys that turn strikers (including myself) put a round tip on them, unless the customer asks for something different. In the future, I'd specify that you want a flat tip.
